tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-3811296754727980243.post-84873114037466571332008-02-12T23:52:00.000+01:002008-02-13T00:04:28.825+01:00<p align="center"><span style="color:#3333ff;">श्रीभगवानुवाच।<br />Lord Krishna said:</span></p><br /><p align="left"><br /><span style="color:#666600;"><br />विषय: ज्ञान मे महान व्यक्तियों का सम्मिलन<br />Subject: Participation of Great Persons in Knowledge</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;color:#ff9900;">इमं विवस्वते योगं प्रोक्तवानहमव्ययम्।<br />विवस्वान्मनवे प्राह मनुरिक्श्वाकवेऽब्रवीत्॥४-१॥</span><br /><br /><span style="color:#3333ff;">I taught this (karma) yoga, the eternal science of action to Sun: he told this to Manu (his son) and Manu taught it to Ikshvaku (his son).<br /></span><br /><span style="color: rgb(102, 51, 102);">श्री भगवान बोले- मैंने इस अविनाशी योग को सूर्य से कहा था, सूर्य ने अपने पुत्र वैवस्वत मनु से कहा और मनु ने अपने पुत्र राजा इक्ष्वाकु से कहा। ॥4-01॥</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(153, 153, 0);"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Lesson:</span> The involvement/ participation of great persons in a scientific pursuit or knowledge (teaching) demonstrate its importance and prevalence.</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(153, 153, 0);">विषय: रीति रिवाजों की विलुप्ति</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(153, 153, 0);">Subject: Disappearance of Traditions/Practices</span><br /><br /><span style="font-size:130%;"><span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);">एवं परम्पराप्राप्तमिमं राजर्षयो विदुः।</span><br /><span style="color: rgb(255, 153, 0);">स कालेनेह महता योगो नष्टः परंतप॥४-२॥</span></span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(51, 51, 255);">Thus taken care of or passed over in regular succession, this (Yoga of action) was known to royal sages. But, O Chastiser of Enemies, with the passage of time this (Yoga of action) has disappeared from this world.</span><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(153, 51, 153);">हे परन्तप अर्जुन! इस प्रकार परम्परा से प्राप्त इस योग को राजर्षियों ने जाना, किन्तु उसके बाद वह योग बहुत काल से इस पृथ्वी लोक में लुप्तप्राय हो गया। ॥4-02॥</span><br /><br /><br /><span style="color: rgb(153, 153, 0);"><span style="font-weight: bold;">Lesson: </span>With the passage of time even the best of the traditions or practices disappear.</span></p>RC Mishranoreply@blogger.com
